Depending on the access you have, your view of the following may vary.
1) To connect your Experience to an opt-in email list you will start by adding a "Checkbox (Basic)" element to your page and label it as an opt-in consent.
2) Now that the label has been set, go to the the "Connect" tab found in the top left corner and then select "+ Add Integration" here:
3) In the two drop downs that appear, select the integration and the list.
If no further changes are made, any user who enters the campaign will be added to the details you set in the previous step, regardless if they opted in or not.
4) To make a user's data being sent to the mailing list contingent on opting in, continue by clicking the "Advanced Settings" and then click the "+ Add Rule" button.
5) For the source, click on the dropdown and select the checkbox added earlier.
6) For "If the user response:" dropdown, select the "Is Checked" option and you're done!
If you would like users to be added to multiple mailing lists when opting in, repeat steps 2-6 and just change the mailing list on step 3.
