One-Time Email Campaigns

  1. Identify the purpose of your email, such as promoting a new sponsor.

  2. Create the email campaign.

  3. Select the recipients for this email.

  4. Decide when to send the email – either immediately or schedule it for a future date and time.

  5. Send the email. This email will only be sent once to the chosen recipients.

Recurring Email Campaigns

  1. Decide the occasion for the recurring email, like sending annual holiday coupons to loyal customers.

  2. Create a segment for your target recipients, such as gold-tier customers from the previous year.

  3. Create the email campaign with the special offer or message.

  4. Choose the previously created segment as the recipient of the email.

  5. Schedule the email with the following details:

    1. Recurrence Frequency: Annually.

    2. Start Date and Time: Specify the exact start time, e.g., December 1st at 10:00 a.m.

  6. Optionally, set an end date for the recurring email, such as stopping after three years.

Using Recurring Emails Previously in Workflows

  1. For any email previously part of a workflow, adjust the workflow to remove the email from any Send Email nodes.

  2. On the email's details page, ensure the option indicating the email is part of a workflow is unchecked.

  3. If you wish to reuse the email in future workflows, you can re-enable the workflow checkbox at any time.

These steps ensure that your email campaigns, whether one-time or recurring, are effectively managed and sent according to your scheduling preferences.
